About The Good Doll

The Good Doll is India’s first sustainable doll brand, creating fabric dolls that represent Indian children, families, and stories. At the heart of our brand is Nilah — a relatable Indian character whose universe comes alive through dolls, garments, illustrations, books, and media. Each doll is produced by rural and indigenous women in the Nilgiris, empowering them with dignified livelihoods while reimagining childhood for India.

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative Graphic Designer to bring Nilah’s world alive across digital and print platforms. You will work closely with our content and media team to design engaging visuals that align with our brand identity and storytelling style. From social media posts to product packaging, your work will ensure consistency, creativity, and emotional connection with our audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design social media creatives (posts, reels, stories, carousels) aligned with content strategy.
• Develop packaging, labels, and print collaterals in line with brand guidelines.
• Support illustration and media team with storyboards, layouts, and digital assets.
• Ensure brand consistency across website, retail, and marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with photographers and videographers to add graphic elements.
• Work on presentations, investor decks, and internal documents with visual polish.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer (portfolio required).
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent tools.
• Understanding of digital-first design for social media and e-commerce.
• Ability to translate brand identity into engaging, warm, storytelling visuals.
• (Preferred) Familiarity with motion graphics, GIFs, or basic video editing.
• A creative eye with attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
