Graphic Designer

Job Summary

Looks Salon is seeking a creative and experienced Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs that align with our brand identity. This includes designing promotional materials, social media content, and in-salon visual displays. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty, fashion, and trends, with the ability to translate ideas into stunning visual content.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of visual content across digital, print, and video platforms.
• Conceptualize and produce engaging motion graphics and animations for marketing campaigns, explainer videos, social media and web including posts, stories, ads, and event promotions.
• Edit and produce high-quality video content, including promotional videos, tutorials, and interviews.
• Design and create marketing materials, such as brochures, posters, flyers, and banners, to promote salon services and products.
• Collaborate with the marketing and salon teams to create visual content that aligns with the brand’s aesthetic and target audience.
• Maintain brand consistency across all visual materials.
• Create digital content for the website, email campaigns, and online advertisements.
• Stay up to date with design trends, beauty industry aesthetics, and competitor strategies.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
• Mentor junior designers and provide feedback and guidance to elevate team output.
• Stay up to date with design trends, motion graphics techniques, and emerging tools and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably within the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Strong portfolio showcasing creativity and design skills, with a focus on branding, marketing, and digital content.
• Understanding of beauty trends and salon industry aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in video editing and motion graphics (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
• Photography skills and experience with photo editing.
• Basic knowledge of website design (WordPress, HTML/CSS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content strategies for Instagram, Facebook, and other channels.
