Designation: Graphic Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive graphic designer to join our team. You will be designing a wide variety of things across offline channels like Print, Outdoor, Transit media etc. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials
• Improving and correcting lighting, coloring & faulty images
• Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval
• Experimenting with style & technique
• Understanding how different platforms have different needs. (Site Board, Pole Banner, Flyer, Transit Branding, etc)
• Knowing how to position various collaterals to maximize virality / Lead generation
• Being able to storytell through designs, images & texts by understanding industry trend
• Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software
• Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed
• Communicating with different stakeholders regarding purpose, layout and design
• Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as photoshop
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary
• Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues (if necessary)
• Ability to translate ideas into complete projects

Qualification, Experience, and Expertise:

• Strong hands-on Experience with software like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Quark. Additional Software knowledge is a Plus
• 2 - 4 years of experience in graphic design
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• A strong eye for visual composition and experience with computer-aided design
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design
