BoonCart is a product-based company creating thoughtfully curated DIY celebration kits. Our work sits at the intersection of design, emotion, gifting, and experience. Every kit we create is meant to feel intentional, aesthetic, and well thought-through - not mass-produced or generic.

We’re now looking to hire a creative, reliable Graphic Designer who enjoys both digital design and hands-on creative work, and who can execute clearly defined creative directions with precision and care.

Role Overview

This is a full-time, Hyderabad-based role.

You will work closely under the Creative Director, who will set the overall vision, concepts, and creative direction. Your role will be to execute, refine, and bring those ideas to life - both digitally and physically.

This role has multiple creative verticals, but the workload is intentionally designed to be varied, not overwhelming. You’ll work on different kinds of creative tasks, but not high-volume or unrealistic output expectations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Graphic Design & Brand Execution

• Design social media posts and creatives based on an established brand direction
• Assist with brand design tasks (visual research, moldboard's, layouts, references)
• Maintain visual consistency across platforms
• Execute creative feedback accurately and efficiently

2. Social Media & Basic Video

• Design static and carousel posts for Instagram
• Basic understanding of reels/video editing (you don’t need to be an expert, but should be open to executing simple edits when required; as well as upskilling)

• 3. Kit Curation & Product Styling (Physical Design)

• Curate DIY celebration kits based on given themes, events, and product directions
• Oversee assembly and organization of kits - Design department scope only
• Designing unique Products (specially for South Indian Celebrations) - Product Design in this capacity will be a small part of your KRA within this vertical
• Coordinate and follow up on sourcing products used in kits - Design department scope only
• Ensure kits feel cohesive, aesthetic, and aligned with the concept

(You will not be manufacturing products - only curating and assembling from sourced items.)

4. Photoshoot Assistance (As and When Required)

• Assist with photoshoots for products, kits, and brand content
• Support basic styling, preparation, and on-ground coordination for shoots
• Help with sourcing or coordinating with external photographers or creatives when required
• Ensure all shoot outputs align with the brand’s visual direction

(Most photoshoots will be done in-house and will not be frequent, especially in the initial phase.)

As BoonCart is currently in a zero-to-one stage, the role involves a variety of creative responsibilities, but with manageable workloads and realistic expectations focused on quality over quantity.

Must-Haves

• A solid graphic design portfolio (applications without a portfolio will not be considered)
• Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Suite / Figma / Canva - as applicable)
• Based in Hyderabad and available for full-time, in-office work

Hiring Process

Our hiring process is designed to be structured, fair, and focused on real skill.

1. Application & Portfolio Review
2. Candidates must apply with a strong graphic design portfolio. Applications without portfolios will not be considered.
3. First Interview
4. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview to assess design thinking, communication, and overall fit.
5. Design Assignment (48 Hours)
6. Candidates who clear the first interview will be given a design/creative assignment, with 48 hours to complete it.
7. Final Interview
8. Candidates who successfully complete the assignment will be invited for a final interview before a decision is made.
