Job Description

The Graphic Designer Intern is responsible for supporting the marketing department through various creative channels including print, digital, web, video, and others as assigned. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the intern will assist in developing and designing core company graphics, logos, event materials, and various creative tasks. Website updates using WordPress are also included.

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare images for social media and blog posts
Assist with website and blog updates via WordPress
Support collateral updates and maintain version control
Create various product logos
Develop and update sales collateral materials
Assist with video production (shooting, editing, etc.)
Work on other creative projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
Knowledge of video editing software
Strong writing and proofing skills
Excellent communication (written & verbal) and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Dependable, detail-oriented, and organized
Team player and quick learner
Ability to work under pressure and with a high sense of urgency

Qualifications:

Strong design craftsmanship and attention to detail
Effective time management for timely project delivery
Excellent presentation, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Familiarity with Tech Packs / Artwork is a plus
Experience designing for clients, student organizations, or through prior internships preferred
