Role Overview: As a Designer at AffinityX, your primary responsibility is to understand client expectations and execute daily Pre-Press production tasks, including planning, typesetting, classifieds layout, and editorial layout. Your role involves organizing job racks, directing workflow efficiently, ensuring that quality standards are met, and maintaining seamless communication with various departments to ensure timely delivery of products. Additionally, you will need to multitask across multiple publications, prepare editorial layouts using InDesign or client software, and optimize ad placements to maximize revenue. Key Responsibilities: - Understand and meet client expectations for Pre-Press production tasks - Organize job racks and direct workflow efficiently - Maintain quality standards and communication with various departments - Multitask across multiple publications while ensuring high-quality output - Prepare editorial layouts using InDesign or client software - Optimize ad placements to maximize revenue - Identify and communicate publication planning and designing concerns to the team Qualifications Required: - Graduation from reputed UGC-affiliated institutions in India - Diploma in Printing Technology preferred - 1-4 years of experience, with Pagination/Publication Department experience as an advantage - Proficiency in InDesign is essential - Excellent written, verbal, and interpretation skills in English - Strong logical thinking and reasoning abilities - Attention to detail and quick learning skills - Ability to work in rotational night shifts as per project requirements - Adaptability to change and client expectations - Willingness to work on weekends - Energetic, self-driven, and aesthetically inclined - Creative thinker with the ability to explore ideas independently If you possess the required qualifications and skills for the Designer role at AffinityX, you are encouraged to share your resume at psingh03@affinityexpress.com.
