Responsibilities and Duties:
- As a Renewals Specialist Intern, you will be part of the Renewals organization at Calix, which is responsible for driving customer loyalty and retention, maximizing recurring revenue, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the Renewals Specialists and other internal teams to:
- Understand the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customers, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
- Review and research accounts, opportunities, and contracts.
- Prepare renewal and true up quotes, amendments, and proposals.
- Update and maintain accurate data and records of activities in Salesforce.
- Align with internal stakeholders through various communication methods.
- Accept designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the process.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 6 months to 1 yeas of work experience preferably in a customer focused role, understanding of technology is a plus.
- Bachelors or masters degree in business, marketing, communications, technology or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of Microsoft Office. Salesforce knowledge a plus!
