Position Summary:

Graduate Engineer Trainee (E&I)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, selection, and integration of electrical and instrumentation components for pump and compressor systems.
  • Support the preparation of wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, cable schedules, and loop diagrams.
  • Participate in PLC/SCADA programming, configuration of instrumentation, and system testing.
  • Help in preparing technical documents including data sheets, Input / output lists, functional design specifications, and test reports.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Mechanical, Production, Quality, and Project Engineering.
  • Participate in panel inspection, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and site commissioning support.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and customer specifications.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for E&I issues in products or systems.

Technical/Functional Skills:

  • Internship or project experience in industrial automation or process instrumentation.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation devices, and industrial automation.
  • Familiarity with control systems, sensors, actuators, VFDs, and motor starters.
  • Knowledge of electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) is preferred.
  • Understanding of PLCs, HMI, SCADA, and industrial communication protocols is an added advantage.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation
  • Strong academic background with a good understanding of electrical & Instrumentation engineering principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good analytical and communication skills; willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
