The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for selecting equipment & auxiliaries required for compressor packages, including their detailed engineering and execution of Sundyne projects. The position will be required to support multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment. Qualification and Experience: Bachelors in mechanical engineering 3-10 years of related engineering experience, including manufacturing, EPCs, and/or oil and gas industry Priori work experience with Compressors, Dry gas sealing system and/or lube oil system is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Duties and responsibilities of the fitter include, but are not limited to: Read & interpret technical drawing, schematics, blueprints, procedures and measurements to plan weld layouts, assemble and install mechanical systems and equipments. Set up & fitting components for welding like pipe fittings, machine fitting, and structure fittings. Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting machine, beveling machine, grinders, threading machine to shape and fit the material. Weld and fabricate components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in required positions. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws. Maintain equipment with accessories in good condition without compromising on safety. Perform maintenance and repair work on mechanical systems and equipment.
