Role Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our security team. The successful candidate will assist in monitoring, analyzing, and generating cyber threat intelligence, implementing security controls, and solutioning. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or equivalent disciplines to gain hands-on experience in a real-world cybersecurity environment.

1. Work closely with the cybersecurity and engineering teams to support the design, development, and implementation of security-centric solutions.


2. Contribute to PoC, documentation, testing, and validation of solutions.


3. Research and apply new tools and technologies relevant to ongoing cybersecurity projects.


4. Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability in completing assigned tasks.


5. Communicate progress and challenges clearly and proactively with mentors and team members.

Communication and Documentation:

1. Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, listening and interpersonal skills.


2. Collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.


3. Excellent reporting, time management, analytical & communication skills.

Qualifications and Technical Skills:

1. 1-2 years of experience with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.


2. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


3. Basic understanding of networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud concepts.


4. Scripting and automation skills in languages such as Python, Bash, etc to develop MVPs and PoCs.


5. Awareness of cybersecurity frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27001, and Cyber Kill Chain would be an advantage.


6. Exposure to common security tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nessus, Splunk, Burp Suite).


7. Knowledge on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure would be preferred.
