Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET)/ Asst. Jr. Engineer - Production / Quality

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech - Mechanical/ Production Engineering/ Automobile Engineering
• Experience: 0 – 2years

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily production planning and shop floor activities based on work orders.
• Monitor the fabrication process of structural steel components like columns, rafters, beams, and purlins.
• Coordinate with design and planning teams to understand drawings and ensure proper implementation on the shop floor.
• Supervise cutting, welding, fitting, and painting activities and ensure quality compliance.
• Maintain production records, shift reports, and rejection data.
• Ensure adherence to ISO standards, quality control procedures, and company safety policies.
• Monitor raw material usage and minimize wastage.
• Support preventive maintenance of production equipment.
• Escalate issues such as material shortages, machine breakdowns, or quality deviations.
• Assist in implementing 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement activities on the floor.

Skills Required:

• Basic understanding of PEB structures and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (structural & fabrication).
• Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, MS Excel, and production software (ERP).
• Awareness of welding processes (MIG, SAW), cutting (plasma, gas), and quality checks.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts and in a factory/shop floor environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
