Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D designs for racking and storage solutions based on customer requirements.

Develop layout plans, assembly drawings, and a bill of materials (BOM).

Collaborate with the sales, project, and installation teams to understand project requirements and site conditions.

Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and load requirements.

Modify and revise designs based on feedback and project changes.

Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases.

Maintain proper documentation of all design work.

Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for material specifications when needed.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma/degree in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or a related field.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software.

Knowledge of racking standards like FEM, SEMA, or RMI (an advantage).

Strong understanding of structural loads and warehouse layouts.

Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
