Deputed Engineer Wiring Harness Design Support JCB Faridabad

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Deputed Engineer to be stationed at JCB Faridabad for wiring harness design support. The candidate will act as a key liaison between JCBs design team and our internal engineering team, ensuring smooth communication, technical support, and project readiness. This role requires strong coordination skills, technical knowledge of wiring harness design, and proactive problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Support at JCB Faridabad

• Provide on-site technical support for wiring harness design, modifications, and validation.
• Collaborate with JCBs design and engineering teams to understand project requirements.
• Assist in reviewing wiring harness schematics, routing, and joint diagrams for JCB machines.
• Ensure adherence to JCBs engineering standards, component selection, and design practices.

2. Communication & Coordination with Parent Organization

• Act as a bridge between JCBs team and our EBWS design team.
• Regularly update the parent organization’s team about design changes, requirements, and technical clarifications.
• Share critical information regarding design feasibility, component selection, and readiness status.
• Provide timely updates on project progress, design approvals, and action points.

3. Project Readiness & Documentation

• Ensure all technical documents, design changes, and reports are systematically shared with the internal team.
• Maintain project trackers and timelines to ensure smooth execution of deliverables.
• Support in the preparation of BOMs, wiring harness drawings, and validation plans.

4. Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting

• Identify potential design challenges or feasibility concerns early in the development process.
• Coordinate with senior engineers and JCB’s team to resolve wiring harness-related issues.
• Ensure timely resolution of technical queries, component fitment concerns, and harness routing challenges.

5. Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure that all designs comply with JCB’s internal standards, safety guidelines, and industry regulations.
• Assist in validation, testing, and troubleshooting of wiring harnesses when required.

Key Skills & Competencies:

1.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Capital Harness, or similar design tools.
2. Strong knowledge of wiring harness design, schematics, and routing. 3. Good communication and coordination skills to manage stakeholder expectations. 4. Problem-solving mindset for quick resolution of design and manufacturing issues. 5. Familiarity with automotive or off-highway vehicle electrical systems.
