Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining HSBC as a GPS CoE Lead within the CIB Banking Transformation & Performance team. Your role will involve facilitating the execution of large-scale Change-the-Bank (CTB) programmes across CIB, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely deliverables within budget and achieving intended benefits. As HSBC transitions to the Value Streams & Enablers delivery model, you will play a crucial role in implementing Value Streams and Future State Architecture (FSA) to enhance execution, delivery speed, efficiency, and scalability of digital solutions. Your contributions will significantly impact business growth and success by leading transformation efforts in the transaction banking sector globally. Key Responsibilities: - Establish and nurture GPS transformation teams within the CoE, providing leadership and support to drive effective change. - Lead GPS change teams across CoE sites, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and promoting collaboration to enhance overall performance. - Design and implement talent development programs within the CoE to enhance skills and promote continuous learning. - Evaluate operational landscape and skill capabilities within HSBC and externally to improve staff skills, recruit necessary talent, and establish new teams or capabilities as needed. - Facilitate the transition from traditional waterfall methodologies to agile practices through training, coaching, and guidance. - Cultivate a performance management culture, oversee governance and control frameworks, and actively contribute to key CoE-level initiatives. Qualifications Required: - Thorough understanding of HSBC Group structures, values, behaviours, processes, and objectives. - Strong knowledge of the external environment within the country, including regulatory, political, economic, and market aspects. - Previous experience in GPS products and Digital Change Delivery preferred. - Outstanding relationship management, interpersonal, and communication skills. - Ability to drive change forward with pace, manage priorities effectively, and mitigate operational risk. - Extensive organisational and planning skills, along with evidence of effective goal execution and results delivery. - Knowledge of technology development, infrastructure, and non-financial risk management in the financial services sector.
