Job Title: Government Liaison Officer Department: Finance Reports To: Director of the company Location: Mumbai Employment Type: Contract Job Summary: The Government Liaison Officer serves as the primary point of contact between the organization and government agencies. This role involves maintaining strong relationships with local, state, and federal government bodies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and advocating for the organization's interests in legislative and policy matters. Key Responsibilities: Establish and maintain positive relationships with government officials, regulators, and public sector stakeholders. Represent the organization in meetings for fund raising with government entities Coordinate with internal departments to ensure compliance with government regulations and reporting requirements. Draft position papers, policy briefs, and official correspondence to government bodies. Facilitate permits, licenses, approvals, or other government-related documentation as needed. Update on Government Schemes which will be beneficial to the company Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, Communications, or a related field 3–7 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related role. Strong understanding of government processes, legislative systems, and regulatory environments. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with public officials and agencies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
