Job Description

Role Overview ( Experience 2 years - 4 years )

We are looking for a skilled GCP Engineer to design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The role involves hands-on engineering, cloud architecture, and operational excellence across GCP services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using GCP services

  • Build and maintain compute, storage, and networking solutions

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate cloud deployments

  • Manage IAM, security, compliance, and access controls

  • Monitor system performance, cost optimization, and reliability

  • Support application migration from on-prem or other clouds to GCP

  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide operational support

  • Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform

  • Hands-on with Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, App Engine

  • Experience with Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Firestore

  • Knowledge of VPC, Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, Firewall rules

  • Experience with Terraform / Deployment Manager

  • CI/CD tools: Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions

  • Scripting: Python / Bash

  • Understanding of cloud security best practices

Good to Have

  • Experience with Kubernetes & Docker

  • Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments

  • Monitoring tools: Cloud Monitoring, Logging, Prometheus

  • GCP certifications (Associate / Professional)
