Golang Developer

Location: Pune

JD: Software Engineer (Golang)

• Contribute code, knowledge, and experience to backend development efforts on the micro services layer, scripts, and libraries.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and Solution Architects to understand, decompose, and implement the business ask.
• Understand software requirements and translate them into high-performance products.
• Play a key role in architectural design.
• Create robust, scalable, and reusable code.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and decision-makers to test and improve services.
• Provide analytical approaches to solve various problems.
• Code back-end components and integrate applications to other web services.
• Develop routine and emergency support patches should the need arise.
• Document and execute unit test cases and ensuring effective handover of project to QA team.
• Work together to identify and resolve issues reported by support and operations team.

• Bachelors/masters degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering
• At least 3-5+ years of experience working with the Go programming language.
• Knowledge of various Go frameworks and tools.
• Understanding of Go Routine and Channel patterns.
• Experience with Stringer, Gos code generation tools
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with code conversion tools like Git.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing.
• Strong understanding of building up software components and implementing complex requirements in a micro service environment.
• Good understanding of Kubernetes and Docker.
• General understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Intermediate core UNIX/Linux knowledge including systems administration and networking.
• Knowledge in Java is a plus.
• Understanding of modern frontend development with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Passionate about learning new tools, languages, philosophies, and workflows.
