GM Admissions (Male)

Location: Velammal Group of Schools,

Job Purpose:

The GM Admissions will be responsible for driving student admissions across all Velammal Group of Schools by strategizing, planning, and implementing effective enrollment campaigns. The role requires strong leadership, networking, and marketing skills to achieve the admission targets while maintaining the institutions reputation and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the overall admission strategy in alignment with institutional goals.

Plan, manage, and monitor the end-to-end admission process from inquiry to enrollment.

Drive lead generation activities through school visits, education fairs, digital platforms, and community engagement.

Coordinate with Principals, Academic Heads, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth communication and execution.

Ensure admission targets are met within defined timelines.

Handle counseling sessions for parents and prospective students.

Build and maintain strong relationships with feeder schools, agencies, and other stakeholders.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide regular updates to management.

Lead, train, and motivate the admission team to deliver high performance.

Generate regular MIS reports on admissions, conversions, and pipeline status.

Requirements:

Graduate / Postgraduate, MBA preferred.

10-15 years of experience in school/college admissions, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Proven track record of handling large-scale admissions in reputed institutions.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Ability to work under pressure and achieve results.
