Global Pricing Expert, Motion Services division

As a Pricing Manager at ABB Motion, a global leader in motors and drives, you will play a crucial role in leading the development of a pricing competency framework for the Motion Services business. Your main responsibilities will include: - Leading the design of a structured pricing training program and certification path tailored to the needs of the service business. This includes defining pricing competency levels, developing relevant training content, and establishing a clear learning journey for various business roles. You will support training delivery through multiple channels, including webinars, in-person workshops, and e-learning modules. This will require close collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external partners. - Contributing to the design and refinement of the global pricing transformation program, focusing on building pricing capabilities and improving business performance. You will lead the deployment of pricing initiatives by establishing strong collaboration at both regional and local levels. Partnering with country pricing leads to support the creation and execution of pricing plans, monitor progress, and report outcomes. Acting as a trusted partner to local teams, supporting them throughout their pricing transformation journey. - Leading the development and expansion of a collaborative forum for sharing pricing best practices, fostering cross-business collaboration, and strengthening knowledge exchange. - Acting as a change agent by embedding pricing strategies and techniques into the business DNA. Collaborating with country pricing leads to ensure alignment, foster buy-in, and drive adoption. Providing training and ongoing support to empower local teams to implement and sustain pricing improvements. - Actively contributing to cross-functional initiatives by challenging the status quo and identifying innovative ways to improve pricing effectiveness. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's or higher degree in a related field. - 5+ years of experience in a pricing role, with exposure to pricing change management projects and training development. - Strong knowledge of pricing processes, governance models, and pricing concepts. - Hands-on experience leading pricing transformation projects at a regional level or higher (project management certification is a plus). - Ability to influence without authority across all organizational levels, strong cross-cultural communication skills, and a talent for inspiring teams and delivering results in matrixed environments. - Highly organized with a focus on speed, accuracy, and continuous process improvement.
