Role Overview: As a Global Core Operations Controls Testing Leader, you will be responsible for end-to-end controls testing, focusing on operational controls performance assurance and testing. You will work closely with the Global Core Operations Testing Team Leader to design, execute, report results, and share insights related to controls testing. Your role will involve being a subject matter expert in controls testing, keeping up-to-date with the latest trends, and adapting them for application within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Support the Global Core Operations Controls Testing Utility by assessing control design, designing control testing tools, developing testing procedures, ensuring control testing transitions, dispositioning exceptions, and developing insights. - Execute Control Design Assessment (CDA) checklist/procedures for controls and record results in Citi Risk & Control (CRC). - Own significant portions of control testing design activity, including writing tool descriptions, completing control testing, and QUEST setup. - Develop control testing procedures in Confluence and obtain necessary signoffs from covered businesses and functions. - Train Central Execution team on designed control testing tools and procedures. - Make ultimate decisions on controls testing outlier disputes and raise concerns through IMPACT Concerns or QUEST Observation Logs. - Create materials for Operational Risk Forums (ORF) and senior meetings, investigate causes for deviating results, and escalate risky situations. - Drive quality-checking routines to ensure compliance with policies, guides, and owned control testing. - Support team members on control testing design, performance management, and platform basics. - Drive continuous improvements in accuracy, efficiency, timeliness, and quality of control design assessment and testing. - Maintain relationships and drive accountability with partners and stakeholders to support the business strategy. - Assess risks in business decisions, safeguard Citigroup's reputation, and comply with laws and regulations. Qualifications: - 12+ years relevant experience, including 3+ years in Global Core Operations and Risk & Controls roles. - Subject matter expert in controls design, execution, or testing. - Excellent understanding of Managers Control Assessment (MCA) frameworks and processes. - Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. - Experience with tools such as Quest, CR&C, JIRA. - Effective communication, written, and presentation skills. - Strong people and relationship management skills to influence others and foster collaboration. - Independent thinker with the ability to challenge businesses/functions. - Ability to work effectively in virtual teams across different geographies and time zones.,
