Role Overview: You will be a middle office professional in the India Broker Dealer Operations team, providing front to back operational support to international trading desks and external clients accessing the Indian equity markets. The team is part of the Operations division of Goldman Sachs and functions within the Indian securities entity, supporting trading desks and external clients. Your role will involve trade booking, confirmation of Indian equity trades, performing client service, handling day-to-day functions, driving projects, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Trade booking, allocation, and confirmation of Indian equity trades & listed derivatives - Providing essential client service and trader support by furnishing trade and market data - Handling day-to-day functions of the team and driving projects for process improvements - Obtaining in-depth knowledge of Indian equities & listed derivatives market regulations - Responding to client inquiries, regulatory trade reporting, and resolving breaks promptly - Maintaining strict control standards on downstream books of accounts - Working with auditors, clients, trading desks, and technology to improve efficiency and client experience Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree with 0-3 years of experience in financial services - Self-motivated, proactive team player with strong organizational skills - Flexible and able to work well under pressure in a team environment - Keen understanding of India market regulations around Equity trading and settlement - Trading operations and middle office experience - Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with external clients - Proactively seeks knowledge and takes up self-learning initiatives Note: The job description does not include any additional details about the company.,
