Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies. This includes determining methods and sequences of operations, performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, welding, and fitting on assembly units while maintaining tolerances to blueprint specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Assemble/process product, parts, and assemblies using hand tools, customized tooling, and/or semi-automated equipment - Follow written process/assembly documentation - Inspect and test parts, assemblies, and products using precision measuring and testing equipment - Adjust processes within defined ranges based on measured results - Adhere to all safety requirements - Write and maintain accurate production documentation instructions - Maintain a clean work area - Perform basic preventative maintenance and assist in troubleshooting and preparing standard production equipment for maintenance - Ensure production schedules are maintained and followed - Facilitate team meetings - Assist in setting up work schedules Qualifications Required: - Highly proficient in multiple production skill areas - Solid knowledge of material logistics - Solid knowledge of at least two business system/concepts within the work area such as Demand Flow, Statistical Process Control, Process Documentation, Empowerment, Six Sigma methods, Quality and/or Cost Improvement - Able to lead discussions, solve problems, and take ownership of decisions - Good presentation and training skills - Ability to write production documentation instructions Additional Company Details: The environment and physical demands for this position are as described in the job posting.
