Job Description

GIS Developer

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Python/ArcPy tools for custom geoprocessing tasks
Build and deploy geoprocessing services in ArcGIS Enterprise
Develop custom widgets and applications using JavaScript/TypeScript in Esri Experience Builder & Web AppBuilder
Create and manage Python scripts for ArcGIS Server & Portal
Publish and maintain map, feature, and geoprocessing services
Manage source-controlled, well-documented code
Participate in design, development, testing, and maintenance of GIS applications
Support enterprise GIS tools, applications, and databases

Required Skills & Abilities

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work under deadline-driven environments
Self-driven with the ability to prioritize and work independently
Good coding hygiene, documentation, and version control practices

Technical Experience

Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Platform, ArcGIS Portal/Online
Proficient in Python geoprocessing scripts, ArcPy, and ArcSDE/SQL Server
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript for Esri Web AppBuilder & Experience Builder
Experience creating, deploying, and consuming geoprocessing tools
SQL/Database knowledge (bonus for SQL Server GIS experience)
