German Tutor – Global Tongue

Global Tongue is seeking a highly skilled and motivated German Educator to lead and elevate our language learning platform tailored to the Indian market. This role involves creating and delivering high-quality German education, leading a small team, and providing strategic direction to ensure an outstanding learner experience.

Note: We are also looking for a future Academic Head Position in our institute.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach comprehensive German language and culture lessons that cover grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural aspects.
• Design and develop engaging German language learning content customized for Indian learners.
• Collaborate closely with the Content Head and team members to maintain a cohesive and updated curriculum.
• Utilize learner feedback and educational trends to continuously refine and enhance content.
• Stay current with innovations in language education and integrate best practices.
• Lead and mentor a subject matter expert, fostering teamwork and professional development.

Qualifications

• Fluency in German and English (spoken and written).
• Goethe Zertifikat C2/C1 or an equivalent certification.
• Proven experience in creating compelling language learning content, preferably for digital platforms.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and collaborate within a team.
• Solid understanding of curriculum development and educational strategies.
• Adaptability in teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
• A bachelor’s degree in German, Education, Linguistics, or a related discipline is preferred.
