Job Description

Job Title: German Project Manager E-Publishing Location: Remote Language Requirement: Proficiency in German (Minimum B1 Level certified preferred) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and language-proficient Project Manager to oversee and coordinate E-Publishing projects involving German-language content. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the publishing or digital content industry, with the ability to communicate fluently in German and English. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for German-language E-Publishing projects. Liaise with German-speaking clients and stakeholders for project updates, requirement gathering, and feedback. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including editorial, production, quality control, and design to ensure timely delivery. Track project progress using project management tools and provide regular status reports. Ensure adherence to quality standards and client specifications. Handle escalations and implement corrective actions proactively. Support the team in translating or reviewing German documents when needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum B2 Level German language certification (Goethe/SD/TestDaF or equivalent). Strong knowledge of publishing workflows, digital content formats (XML, HTML, ePub), and editorial processes. Excellent communication, organizational, and client-handling skills. Experience working with project management tools (MS Project, Trello, JIRA, etc.).
