Job Description – German Language Trainer

Role Overview
The German Language Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality German language instruction to learners at various proficiency levels. The role focuses on developing learners’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while preparing them for academic, professional, and certification requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Language Instruction

  • Plan and deliver German language training sessions aligned with CEFR levels (A1–B2).
  • Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational skills effectively.
  • Conduct interactive and learner-centered classes using modern teaching methodologies.

Curriculum Development

  • Design and update lesson plans, course materials, and assessments.
  • Align training content with recognized German language certification standards (Goethe, Telc, ÖSD, etc.).

Exam Preparation and Assessment

  • Prepare learners for German language proficiency exams.
  • Conduct regular assessments, mock tests, and performance evaluations.
  • Provide constructive feedback to track learner progress and improvement.

Cultural Orientation

  • Introduce learners to German culture, social norms, and professional etiquette.
  • Support learners in developing practical language skills for academic, workplace, and daily-life situations.

Student Support and Mentoring

  • Address individual learning needs and provide additional support where required.
  • Motivate learners and foster confidence in spoken and written German.

Classroom Management and Engagement

  • Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Encourage active participation through group activities, role plays, and discussions.

Administrative and Reporting Duties

  • Maintain attendance, progress reports, and training documentation.
  • Coordinate with academic teams and management on learner performance.

Professional Development

  • Stay updated on German language teaching methodologies and exam formats.
  • Participate in training programs, workshops, and skill enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in German (minimum B2/C1 level; C2 preferred).
  • Certification in German language teaching or relevant qualifications.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in teaching German to beginners and advanced learners is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
