Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Facilitation

• Deliver engaging, interactive German language classes across levels (A1 to B2/C1).
• Adapt teaching methods to suit learner needs, especially in multilingual Indian classrooms.
• Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations and feedback.
  

Curriculum & Academic Development

• Design, update, and enhance curriculum in alignment with CEFR standards.
• Develop academic content, assessments, classroom materials, and digital resources.
• Contribute to pedagogical innovation and integration of AI-assisted learning tools.
  

Student Engagement & Mentoring

• Organize and lead student-focused activities such as language clubs, cultural events, and immersion sessions.
• Provide academic mentoring, feedback, and guidance to students.
• Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment that motivates students.
  

Institutional Contribution

• Collaborate with the Academic Head on strategic planning and language program growth.
• Participate in workshops, teacher training programs, and quality assurance reviews.
• Represent the academy in events and forums as needed.
  

Eligibility Criteria:Required Qualifications:

• C1 or C2 level certification in German (as per CEFR), from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in teaching German as a foreign language.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in German / Education / Linguistics or equivalent field.
  

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience working in an international or multilingual educational environment.
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools and AI-assisted platforms.
• Strong communication skills in English (Malayalam proficiency is a plus).
• Passion for teaching, cultural exchange, and student empowerment.
  

Other Requirements:

• Immediate joining preferred.
• Willingness to relocate to Cochin, Kerala (relocation assistance may be discussed).
• Open to working in a structured, dynamic, and innovation-driven academic setting.
