Generative AI Validation, SVP

As a Senior Vice President, Generative AI Validation - Hybrid at Citi, your role involves overseeing a portfolio of AI objects and providing independent review and effective challenge on their soundness and fit-for-purpose. You will be responsible for managing AI/ML risk across all life-cycle activities, conducting analysis, preparing detailed technical documentation reports, identifying weaknesses and limitations of AI/ML objects, and communicating results to various audiences. Additionally, you will interact with senior management, provide leadership and guidance for junior modelers, and ensure compliance with regulations and ethical standards. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee a portfolio of AI Objects and provide independent review and effective challenge on their soundness and fit-for-purpose - Assist Head of AI Risk Review in managing AI/ML risk across all life-cycle activities - Conduct analysis and prepare detailed technical documentation reports to meet regulatory guidelines - Identify weaknesses and limitations of AI/ML objects, inform stakeholders of their risk profile, and recommend compensating controls - Communicate results to diverse audiences and manage stakeholder interactions - Contribute to strategic initiatives within the model risk management organization - Provide leadership and guidance for junior modelers - Assess risk in business decisions and drive compliance with laws and regulations Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience - Experience/familiarity with AI/ML applications in cybersecurity, chatbot, natural language processing, image/voice recognition, and robotic process automation - In-depth technical knowledge of common AI/ML techniques and risks associated with AI/ML - Ability to collaborate with peers and stakeholders, explain technical terms effectively, and deliver compelling presentations - Proficiency in programs like R and Python, and common AI/ML packages - Advanced degree (Masters and above) in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, data science, AI/ML, etc. At Citi, you will have access to programs and services for physical and mental well-being, expanded Paid Parental Leave Policy, resources for financial well-being, learning and development opportunities, work-life balance programs, and volunteerism initiatives.
