Role Overview

We are supporting our client in identifying a Tech Lead, who will take end-to-end ownership of architecting and scaling the intelligence backbone of the Generative AI platform.

This role involves leading the design and development of the core Generative AI systems, frameworks, and infrastructure that will power the companys AI agents and automation products. The role requires a solid understanding of modern AI/ML concepts and deep learning model behavior, ensuring that Generative AI systems are designed, integrated, and evaluated effectively in production.

The ideal professional will bring a strong foundation in application architecture, hands-on experience in building GenAI-driven products, and the ability to lead and mentor a growing team while staying deeply technical.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop the AI platform layer that powers the company's automation ecosystem, including LLM orchestration, context management, evaluation, and observability frameworks.
• Design scalable, production-grade GenAI systems using tools such as LangGraph, LangChain, and LangSmith, integrated with vector or graph databases.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, driving technical direction, code quality, and delivery excellence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, full-stack, and DevOps teams to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into front-end and back-end workflows.
• Implement robust LLMOps practices, ensuring reliability, monitoring, and performance of AI systems at scale.
• Contribute to product strategy by translating business needs into AI-first solutions and balancing rapid experimentation with enterprise-grade robustness.
• Stay ahead of emerging frameworks and research in GenAI to continuously strengthen the platforms capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience:

  5-7 years of overall software engineering experience, with at least 2-3 years in AI/ML or Generative AI systems.

• GenAI Expertise

  : Strong understanding of LLM workflows, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), context engineering, evaluation, and observability. Exposure to deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and understanding of model architecture fundamentals will be an advantage.

• Application Architecture:

  Proven ability to design distributed, modular systems integrating multiple applications and data pipelines.

• Technical Stack:

  Proficiency in Python and TypeScript. Familiarity with DevOps concepts (CI/CD, containerization, cloud deployment) and collaboration with parallel DevOps teams.

• Team Management:

  Prior experience managing and mentoring a team of engineers. Able to drive ownership, accountability, and technical excellence.

• Startup Experience:

  Hands-on mindset, ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and comfort working in early-stage, high-ownership setups.
• Experience launching one or more GenAI-based products or platforms end-to-end is preferred.
