General Trade Zonal Manager - WEST

Position:

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the General Trade Business for the Company in the West Zone. Manage a team of Area Sales Managers and Sales Officers

Sales

1. Lead the sales function for the Zone in the General Trade Business
2. Manage existing Distributors and appoint new distributors
3. Channel Expansion – Grow the Dealer Network to ensure Brand in present in more outlets and increase penetration within the outlet
4. Collection – Ensure Distributors pay the Company as per policy and outstanding debt is reduced in the market
5. Work with the ASM and SO regularly to ensure PJP is followed and enhanced
6. Present Annual and Quarterly Sales Plan to the Management

Product

1. Provide continuous product and channel feedback to the leadership team
2. Come up with ideas for Product line expansion and rationalization

Experience Profile:

• Industry Preference: FMCD, FMEG; FMCG is also okay but some exposure to FMCD is a must
• Years of experience: At least 10 years of overall experience with 5 years of experience in General Trade
• Must have: Strong experience in managing min. 1-2 states in the WEST region with a business portfolio of comparable scale. Experience in General Trade is non-negotiable
• Good to have an MBA and/or experience in managing the entire WEST region will be preferred
