General & Operational Accounting Advisor

Role Overview: As the Financial Analysis Senior Specialist/Advisor at NTT NL, you will be a part of the Business Control team and report to the Business Control Manager in NL. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the accurate recording of Revenue and Cost of goods sold according to customer contracts for the assigned revenue stream. You will also collaborate closely with business controllers and accounting teams to prevent revenue/COGS leakages and provide detailed analysis. Key Responsibilities: - Discuss new contracts with Business Controllers to assess financial impact and timing - Collaborate with teams such as Order Management, Finance Operations, Contract Management on specific orders - Provide recommendations for enhancing accounting process efficiency - Handle month-end activities including preparation and processing of journal entries for revenue and COGS - Verify completeness of revenue and COGS for the month - Conduct detailed financial analysis to offer insights into financial performance, trends, and improvement opportunities - Monitor budget allocations and expenditure, identify variances, and implement corrective actions - Prepare annual audit information for external auditors on specific balance sheet accounts - Work with outsourced service providers to maintain service levels for the NL organization - Support monthly Balance sheet reviews with EU and Group Finance - Participate in Planning & Control cycle for reports, forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis - Report to internal and external stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a relevant field - Professional Accounting Qualification (CA/CMA or equivalent) - 8-10 years of relevant experience - Global experience working with teams across Geographies preferred Additional Company Details: The Revenue Controller position at NTT NL entails a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial recording and analysis within the organization.
