General & Operational Accounting Advisor

As a Financial Analysis Senior Specialist/Advisor at NTT NL, you will be responsible for the timely and correct recording of Revenue and Cost of goods sold as per customer contracts for the assigned revenue stream. Your key responsibilities will include: - Discussing new contracts with Business Controllers to understand financial impact, timing, etc. - Liaising with other teams such as Order Management, Finance Operations, Contract Management on specific orders - Acting as a partner in the accounting process, recommending how to improve efficiency - Processing month-end activities including preparation and processing of journal entries for revenue and COGS - Verifying revenue and COGS completeness for the month - Conducting in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into the organization's financial performance - Monitoring and controlling budgetary allocations and expenditure across various business areas and projects - Preparing annual audit information for external auditors on specific balance sheet accounts - Working closely with outsourced service providers to support the level of service provided to the NL organization - Supporting monthly Balance sheet reviews with EU and Group Finance for relevant balance sheet accounts - Participating in Planning & Control cycle supporting preparation of reports, forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis - Reporting to and cooperating with internal and external stakeholders in an independent, timely, and accurate manner You will need to have: - A Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a relevant field - Professional Accounting Qualification (CA/CMA or equivalent) - 8-10 years of relevant experience - Global experience of working with teams across Geographies will be given preference Your knowledge and attributes should include: - Advanced knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting - Strong communication and presentation skills - Advanced analytical skills - Commitment to ethical and responsible financial practices and compliance with applicable laws and regulations Key Performance Parameters: 1.
