Job Description

Objectives of this role:

  1. Maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper company operations.
  2. Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
  3. Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the companys internal capacity.
  4. Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget.
  5. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
  2. Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
  3. Work closely with legal and safety departments to ensure that activities remain compliant.
  4. Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
  5. Prepare regular reports for upper management.
  6. Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations.
  7. Oversee materials and inventory.
  8. Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  1. Five or more years of proven success in an operations management role.
  2. Strong skills in budget development and oversight.
  3. Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service.
  4. Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes.
  5. Knowledge of business productivity software and an aptitude for learning new applications.
  6. Experience in planning and budgeting.
  7. Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)
  8. Strong analytical ability.
  9. Excellent communication skills.
  10. Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
  11. Problem-solving aptitude.
  12. Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field
