Job Description: As the General Manager Operations at a Spinning Mills company with 60,000 Spindles in Coimbatore, your role is crucial in leading and managing the entire unit operations. You will be accountable for the overall operational and financial performance of the unit, ensuring high levels of quality and delivery while improving internal efficiency in terms of cost, productivity, and people engagement. Key Responsibilities: - Meet high-quality and delivery demands from customers while continuously improving internal efficiency - Identify and execute improvement projects to enhance quality, cost, delivery, safety, and employee morale - Provide manufacturing expertise to the Production team for implementing cost reduction and efficiency improvement measures - Conceptualize and implement projects for process re-engineering, technology absorption, expansion, and new products - Ensure proper upkeep of the manufacturing facility for optimal machine availability and efficiency utilization - Proactively manage and participate in complex problem-solving - Lead and drive people, product, and process effectively - Build trust, credibility, and transparency across stakeholders - Mobilize resources and manage quality, cost, and manufacturing effectively - Stay informed about internal and external competitive landscapes, industry trends, and sector opportunities for business growth - Maximize growth and deliver quality products to customers on time to enhance business value Accountability: You will be accountable for the day-to-day running of the business.
