General Manager Operations

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operational Strategy:

    Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize marketplace performance, service delivery, and overall efficiency.
  • Team Leadership:

    Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of operations professionals, cultivating collaboration and a high-performance culture.
  • Marketplace & Last-Mile Management:

    Oversee daily marketplace operations, including vendor onboarding, partner management, listings, and seamless execution of

    last-mile operations

    to ensure timely and reliable service fulfillment.
  • Quality Assurance:

    Establish and enforce quality control frameworks to meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Client Satisfaction:

    Monitor client experience, address concerns promptly, and ensure effective communication between clients and service providers.
  • Resource Allocation:

    Manage operational resources effectively to balance marketplace demand and supply.
  • Budget Oversight:

    Plan, manage, and monitor operational budgets; identify and implement cost-optimization opportunities.
  • Performance Metrics:

    Define, track, and analyze KPIs to measure marketplace health, last-mile performance, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Risk Management:

    Proactively identify risks, implement mitigation plans, and ensure marketplace resilience.
  • Regulatory Compliance:

    Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Process Documentation:

    Develop and maintain SOPs and operational documentation for vendors, clients, last-mile delivery, and internal teams.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduation from Tier 1 Institutions ( IITs/NITs) preferred)
  • 710 years of proven experience in

    B2B operations, vendor management, and last-mile delivery operations

    , with strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Deep understanding of logistics, last-mile service models, and vendor ecosystems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with marketplace management and logistics tools.
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a dynamic business environment.
