Job Overview:

The General Manager Sales will be responsible for driving overall sales performance across multiple locations, ensuring business growth, operational excellence, and adherence to OEM expectations. This role involves strategic planning, forecasting, execution of sales plans, team leadership, and seamless coordination with OEMs. The GM Sales will oversee end-to-end sales operations and contribute actively to future expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement annual and monthly sales plans aligned with business goals.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and ensure achievement of wholesale and retail targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and plan for future expansion.

2. Execution & Performance Management

  • Monitor performance across all locations and drive timely action plans.
  • Ensure consistent execution of sales processes, lead management, and customer experience functions.
  • Track KPIs, MIS, and daily/weekly dashboards to ensure goal alignment.

3. Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate sales managers and teams across all 6 locations.
  • Build a high-performance sales culture with focus on accountability and results.
  • Conduct regular reviews, training, and capability development sessions.

4. OEM Coordination & Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary interface between the dealership group and the OEM.
  • Ensure adherence to OEM processes, standards, reporting requirements, and performance expectations.
  • Handle audits, reviews, marketing activities, and compliance with OEM policies.

5. Sales Operations Management

  • Oversee complete sales-related operations including retail processes, documentation, funnel management, delivery performance, stock planning, and ageing control.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of each location by coordinating with CRM, marketing, finance, insurance, and other internal teams.
  • Implement best practices and streamline processes for efficiency.

6. Business Growth & Expansion

  • Support strategic expansion into new markets and locations.
  • Plan manpower, infrastructure, and operational readiness for upcoming outlets.
