General Manager

To lead, coordinate, and manage all MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing, Firefighting) design, execution, and commissioning activities for Hare Krishna Cultural Center Project, Jaipur under Hare Krishna Movement. The MEP GM /DGM will ensure all kind of MEPF related jobs Design analysis, Value Engineering, Commercial finalization, technical excellence, execution, coordination, timely delivery, safety compliance, and alignment with company objectives and statutory regulations.

Role & responsibilities

Strategic & Managerial:

• Lead the complete MEP division including design, procurement, installation, testing & commissioning.

• Coordinate between internal stakeholders (civil, structural, procurement, planning) and external vendors/consultants.

• Develop project execution strategy, budgets, and timelines for MEP works.

• Represent the company in high-level meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.

• Ensure all works comply with applicable national/international standards (e.g., IS, IEC, NEC, ASHRAE).

Technical Execution:

• Review and approve MEP design drawings, BOQs, technical submittals, and specifications.

• Ensure accurate and cost-effective procurement of MEP materials and equipment.

• Supervise installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of:

• HVAC systems with Chillers, VRV, CPM and cooling Tower.

• Firefighting systems

• Electrical substations, LT/HT panels, DG sets

• Pumps, motors, transformers

• Plumbing and drainage systems

• BMS, SCADA, and control systems, ELV, CCTV, PSS.

• STP/WTP

• Not limited and All MEPF related work in the project.

• Conduct periodic audits and technical reviews to ensure quality and progress.

Project Coordination & Monitoring:

• Monitor project schedules and track milestones related to MEP.

• Resolve technical issues and bottlenecks in a proactive manner.

• Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed on site.

• Implement QA/QC systems for MEP components.

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

• Education: B.E. Electrical / Mechanical with 20-25 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a DGM/GM role in the construction industry of Residential /Commercial/ Industrial/ Temple projects in MEPF disciplines from design stage to closeout stage not limited to maintenance stage.

• Age: 45 50 years.

• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining client satisfaction and meeting deadlines.

• In-depth knowledge of commercial aspects of project management.

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and advanced business planning.

• Proficiency in IT tools such as MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, AUTO CAD and Google Workspace. REVIT/BIM is optional to review MEP Module.

• Strong organizational, documentation, and relationship-building skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and multitasking skills to engage effectively with clients, vendors and internal teams.
