GCP Lead with GKE Terraform

We are seeking a seasoned GCP Cloud Lead/ Architect with a proven track record in designing and implementing enterprise-grade cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is a client-facing role that requires deep technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable cloud architectures..

Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of end-to-end solutions on GCP for enterprise clients.

Work closely with business and engineering stakeholders to define cloud strategies and roadmaps.

Design solutions involving GCP services such as GCE, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, VPC, IAM, Stackdriver, and more.

Manage and lead cloud migration projects, including legacy modernization and application refactoring.

Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform, manage CI/CD pipelines, and enforce DevOps best practices.

Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices, compliance, and cost optimization strategies.

Act as a trusted advisor in cloud architecture discussions, technical decision-making, and client presentations.

Skill/ Competency Requirements:

Experience in GCP architecture and implementation.

Strong experience in GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, CloudSQL, VPC, IAM).

Expertise in DevOps toolsets Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD.

Hands-on experience with cloud-native design patterns and microservices-based architecture.

Deep understanding of cloud security frameworks, FinOps cost management, and compliance (HIPAA, ISO, NIST).

Strong ability to define architecture artifacts HLDs, LLDs, Activity Diagrams, and Solution Design Documents.

Excellent client-facing and communication skills with the ability to lead solution discussions.

Proven experience assessing clients workloads and technology landscape for Cloud suitability, develop business case and Cloud adoption roadmap

Proven knowledge of leading Cloud Management Platform and orchestration tools

Proven knowledge of evaluating the GCP hosting/consumption charges and optimization of the charges

Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive project from architecture standpoint

Ability to quickly establish credibility and trustworthiness within key executive stakeholders in client organization;

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills;

Ability to quickly produce PowerPoint slides which are both content rich, succinct and visually appealing;
