Gas Pipeline Technician

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Gas Pipeline Technician to support operations in Kolkata. The role involves the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of gas pipelines and distribution systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance of gas pipeline systems.

Conduct pressure testing, leakage detection, and fault analysis.

Operate and maintain gas meters, valves, regulators, and pipeline monitoring equipment.

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

Prepare service reports, logs, and documentation for each job.

Follow safety protocols as per industry and government norms (e.g., PNGRB regulations).

Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to ensure timely completion of projects.

Respond to emergency pipeline issues and assist in repair operations.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in gas pipeline operations or maintenance.

Knowledge of gas distribution systems, fittings, tools, and safety procedures.

Ability to use diagnostic and testing equipment for gas pipelines.

Strong understanding of Kolkata’s local network and geography is a plus.

Good communication skills in Bengali/Hindi/English.

Willingness to travel to different project sites within the region.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
