Key Responsibilities

• Develop, prioritize, and implement player-facing features for an upcoming title.
• Create systems and features in Unreal Engine, spanning from UI to client-side architecture.
• Build and maintain live service components to support the game.
• Leverage internal and external cloud technologies and services effectively.
• Contribute to the architecture design, requirements, and implementation of key systems.
• Define and uphold the technical standards and direction for the team.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering growth and skill development.
• Collaborate seamlessly with game development disciplines, including art and design.
  

Essential Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience building interactive UI and supporting client and backend systems.
• Proven track record of designing scalable, production-ready architecture for large systems from scratch, including requirements gathering.
• Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, supported by a BS in Computer Science or equivalent expertise.
• Strong collaborative skills, enabling teamwork across diverse disciplines.
• A player-focused mindset with a balance of pragmatism and product sense in technical decision-making.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience contributing to a globally scaled online game.
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
• Demonstrated expertise in shipping production-ready code in Golang, C#, or C++.
