Job Overview

Furniture Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative and practical furniture designs aligned with market trends and customer requirements.
• Create detailed design drawings, 3D models, and prototypes using design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, or similar).
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, and production techniques to ensure durability and quality.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure feasibility of designs and adherence to budgets.
• Conduct research on new design trends, ergonomics, and material innovations.
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with design standards.
• Oversee design modifications based on client and production feedback.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in

  furniture design

  .
• Proficiency in design tools such as

  AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, 3Ds Max, or equivalent

  .
• Strong knowledge of materials (wood, metal, glass, upholstery, etc.) and production processes.
• Creative mindset with excellent visualization and detailing ability.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with teams.

Preferred Qualification

• Degree/Diploma in

  Furniture Design, Interior Design, Product Design, or related field

  .
• Prior experience in the

  furniture or interior industry

  will be an added advantage.
