Job Title: Junior Furniture Designer

Job Summary:

Passionate and detail-oriented Junior Furniture Designer to join our team. The role involves assisting in the design, development, and execution of furniture concepts that are both functional and visually appealing. The ideal candidate will collaborate with senior designers, production teams, and clients to create innovative furniture solutions for residential, commercial, and corporate projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Support – Assist senior designers in creating furniture concepts, sketches, and 3D models.

2. Detailing & Drafting – Prepare technical drawings, shop drawings, and specifications for production.

3. Material & Finish Selection – Research and suggest suitable materials, finishes, and hardware for furniture design.

4. Prototype Development – Coordinate with vendors and workshops for sample making and prototype review.

5. Collaboration – Work closely with senior designers, site teams, and clients to ensure design intent is achieved.

6. Quality Check – Support in monitoring the quality and finishing of furniture during production and installation.

7. Documentation – Maintain drawings, mood boards, and records of design updates for projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Product Design, or related field.

Experience: 0–2 years of experience in furniture design (internships/freshers may also apply).

Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, and Photoshop (knowledge of Revit is a plus).

Creative Ability: Good sense of design, materials, ergonomics, and proportions.

Attention to Detail: Ability to produce precise technical drawings and accurate detailing.

Team Player: Willingness to learn, take feedback, and support senior designers in project delivery.

Communication: Basic verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination.
