Furniture Designer

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and design furniture pieces (wooden, brass, mixed materials) aligned with the brand’s aesthetic.
• Create sketches, 3D models, and detailed technical drawings for production.
• Collaborate with craftsmen and production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality.
• Research trends, materials, and innovative techniques in furniture design.
• Revise designs based on feedback while maintaining the design vision.
• Ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, and ergonomic standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or related field.
• Proven experience in furniture design, preferably with a focus on handcrafted or premium furniture.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of materials, joinery, and manufacturing processes.
• Creative flair, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with sustainable materials and eco-friendly design.
• Knowledge of Indian craft techniques and heritage-inspired furniture.
