Fund Accounting Sr. Manager - C13

The Fund Accounting Senior Manager position is a senior management role that involves overseeing a team to drive various fund valuation activities in collaboration with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The primary goal of this position is to ensure the smooth execution of tasks related to Net Asset Valuations (NAVs). Responsibilities: - Leading a team of professionals to achieve established objectives and handling personnel responsibilities such as performance evaluations, recruitment, and disciplinary actions. - Identifying opportunities for process enhancements, recommending system improvements, and overseeing system testing. - Allocating staff responsibilities to maximize efficiency by evaluating business requirements, staff skills, and development needs. - Establishing and nurturing relationships with internal and external clients, acting as a point of contact for complex customer issues. - Conducting discovery and due diligence with clients and visits to assess service quality. - Overseeing the Risk and Control agenda, managing audits, engaging with auditors, and detecting process inefficiencies. - Collaborating with senior management to identify cost-saving opportunities, FTE reductions, and optimizations. - Working closely with Sales and CEs on client management and service enhancement initiatives. - Evaluating risks in business decisions with a focus on protecting the firm's reputation and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Qualifications: - Proficient in managing a specialized group of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). - Experience in client and stakeholder communication. - Client-facing experience. - Extensive background in Fund Accounting reconciliation, preferably with comprehensive Fund Accounting experience. - 12+ years of relevant experience. - Chartered Accountant/CFA/MBA qualification. - 8+ years of Fund Accounting experience. - Experience in financial services accounting, strategic management, resource/expense management, and client relationship management. - Experience in operational delivery management. - Profound knowledge of fund services and processes. - Demonstrated leadership and management abilities. - Team-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills. - Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in the related area. Education: - Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience. - Master's degree preferred.
