Fund Accounting Specialist

As a Fund Accounting Specialist at Citigroup, your role involves assisting in a variety of fund valuation activities in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. Your main responsibility will be to calculate daily and periodic Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) for funds and distribute associated unit prices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Complete activities related to accurate and timely delivery of valuations for defined clients - Review stock and cash reconciliations to ensure exceptions have no NAV impact and cleared items are treated appropriately - Analyze causes of recurring exceptions and suggest enhancements through reconciliation review and NAV analysis - Assist in ensuring correct reflection of corporate actions on the NAV - Collect and analyze relevant management information from an operational and client perspective - Aid in developing team processes, procedures, and maintaining a positive working environment - Investigate and resolve client queries promptly, meeting Service Level Agreement (SLA) deadlines - Assess risks in business decisions, with a focus on safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by complying with laws, rules, and regulations **Qualifications:** - 2-4 years of relevant experience - Experience within financial services - Knowledge of financial market operations, accounting, and basics of financial management - Demonstrated knowledge of accounting - Basic knowledge of organization and policies - Studying for ACCA, ACA, or CIMA at an advanced level - Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication **Education:** - High School diploma or equivalent If you are a person with a disability and require a reasonable accommodation to use search tools or apply for a career opportunity, please review Accessibility at Citi.,
