Full Stack Tech Lead - SaaS Development & Operations

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Tech Lead to drive the design, development, deployment, and operations of a scalable SaaS platform. The ideal candidate should bring hands-on expertise in Node.js, AWS cloud platform, and should have strong coordination, architectural leadership, and people management capabilities. You will lead a cross-functional team, align with stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery and operational stability of the SaaS offering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full software development lifecycle design, development, deployment, monitoring, and support of SaaS applications.


• Architect and develop robust, secure, and scalable backend services using Node.js.


• Manage AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring availability, performance, and cost optimization.


• Drive DevOps best practices across CI/CD, IaC, and monitoring.


• Mentor and guide the engineering team; perform code reviews and technical evaluations.


• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, QA, and other teams for successful feature rollout.


• Own post-production support and incident resolution processes.


• Establish coding standards, best practices, and governance for multi-tenant SaaS applications.


• Coordinate across teams and geographies to ensure aligned delivery and support readiness.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in Node.js, REST APIs, and modern backend architectures.


• Solid understanding of AWS platform services: EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.


• Strong grasp of SaaS application patterns, including multi-tenancy, billing, identity integration, and observability.


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., CloudFormation/Terraform).


• Strong communication and coordination skills experience leading development teams and interfacing with cross-functional stakeholders.


• Proven ability to troubleshoot and manage operational incidents effectively.

Added Advantage

• Experience with LoopBack framework or other Node.js-based API frameworks.


• UI development Experience with ReactJS


• Prior experience in building and operating SaaS platforms at scale.


• Familiarity with frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus.


• Exposure to API Gateways, OpenAPI, and OAuth2/IDP integrations.


• Experience working in Agile delivery models with global teams.

Education

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
