Full Stack Java Developer

As an Intermediate Application Support Developer at our company, you will play a vital role in providing hands-on support, maintenance, and enhancement to existing applications spanning the entire technology stack. You should be adept at troubleshooting, comfortable in Agile environments, and possess full-stack development skills, particularly in Java, REST APIs, Spring Boot, and modern frontend tools. A strong grasp of microservices architecture and experience with cloud services are crucial. Your responsibilities will include optimizing application performance, implementing enhancements, and ensuring seamless deployments. You will be responsible for triaging, resolving, and managing Jira tickets related to application issues and change requests. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and enhance both front-end and back-end components of enterprise applications, identifying root causes and applying effective fixes to optimize performance and reliability. Your involvement in end-to-end development, from design and estimation to testing and deployment, will be essential. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product owners, project managers, and end-users, to gather requirements and deliver solutions will also be part of your role. Managing deployments across various environments (UAT, Staging, Production) using release pipelines, executing unit, integration, and performance tests, and serving as a support knowledge lead for select applications, tools, or frameworks are among the key responsibilities. Documenting technical flows, deployment steps, and application changes will also be required. To excel in this role, you should be proficient in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot frameworks, with a solid understanding of REST APIs and experience with MySQL and MongoDB for database management. Familiarity with microservices architecture, cloud services like AWS, design patterns, containerization tools, and strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills are essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, Agile team environment, are key attributes we are looking for. Ideally, you should have a technical education background with a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science or a related field from a recognized university. Desirable skills include exposure to Service Management Tools, experience with DevOps workflows and release management, mentoring junior developers, familiarity with modern frontend technologies, and experience with microservices deployment in a cloud-native environment. With a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Java and Spring Boot development, proficiency in building and maintaining microservices integrating relational and NoSQL databases, prior work with Agile/Scrum methodologies, and experience in deploying applications on cloud platforms like AWS, you would be a strong candidate.
