Role Overview: As a Business Consulting QAS- Quantitative Trading Book (QTB) professional at EY, you will be a part of the Financial Services Office (FSO) Advisory Practice, focusing on providing integrated advisory services to financial institutions and capital markets participants. Your role within the Quantitative Trading Book (QTB) team will involve designing and implementing strategic changes across risk management, treasury, and front, middle, and back-office activities for clients in the financial services sector. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate deep technical capabilities and stay updated on market trends and client issues in the financial services sector. - Monitor progress, manage risks, and communicate effectively with key stakeholders to achieve expected outcomes. - Mentor junior consultants, conduct performance reviews, and contribute to talent recruitment. - Contribute to developing intellectual capital to support delivering superior outcomes for clients and the firm. Qualifications Required: - Undergraduate or Masters (Computational Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or Physics preferred) or Ph.D. in quantitative topics. - Working knowledge of statistical and numerical techniques, mathematical concepts related to pricing derivatives, and risk management/model development/validation in market risk and counterparty credit risk. - Hands-on experience in model development/validation/monitoring/audit procedures, including stress testing and back-testing. - Strong coding skills in Advanced Python or Java, C++ with statistical packages in R, and basic knowledge of SQL. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
