For our business, for clients, and for you Key duties and responsibilities Prepare Cash/Position/Market Value Reconciliations and resolving breaks. Notify Clients/CSMs of valid breaks. If any breaks are due to an erroneous or missing transaction in accounting system, then make necessary adjustments. Researching, following up and clearing outstanding items within deadlines Submitting information for adjusting entries via email to the processing departments Identifying missing and / or inaccurate information in vendor database Review and clearing daily / Monthly cash and positions and provide sign off to client. Ensuring that a companys financial balances match with the figures in its account ledgers Examining the companys accounting records, reviewing them with banking documentation, and reporting any discrepancies in the reports Reviewing the corporate actions booked in the system and ensuring that the same is correctly reflected in the books. Dividends/Interest Reconciliation with Broker reports Independently price the Investment positions on a daily & monthly basis. Responsible for accruing/amortizing daily or monthly non-security related Fee accruals Review the PNL before delivering the report to client. Process non-automated transactions including OTC derivatives and their related cash movements. Effective communication with clients on daily reporting of Reconciliation/Query resolutions. Checking that all OTC products traded by the client have been booked correctly. Support operations on projects related to Automations/Work migrations/Conversions etc. Support global changes in Key operating procedures and implementation. Coordinating with Internal/External Stake holders such as Securities/Trades and Pricing Team, Reporting Team, Client Service Managers and Clients. Few are vendor applications, and few are inhouse applications. We have Metals post trade application which uses a third-party vendor platform Calypso for Confirmations/Settlements processes. Along with this we also have other third-party vendor applications namely CoreIMS and Aurum which are used for Inventory management and Metals Clearing respectively. We perform end to end development/testing and support for these applications by closely working with business stakeholders. As a vision we plan to demise our Calypso based legacy application used by Metal s business and replace the same with our Inhouse application called OPAS (Operations Platform as a service). OPAS is already being used by FX and business plans to have a single Backoffice system for FX and Metals. The vision of OPAS is to have achieving ultra-scalability without sacrificing performance and availability breakdown into components and take efforts to decentralize change management and providing teams with more control over how features make their way to production distributed and move away from vertically scaled infrastructure and single points of failures Not only needed to transform the way we build and operates on a post trade system, and it needed to transform the culture of GM operations. Our teams are currently operating in micro services environment based on Java 8 and Spring Cloud and using a vendor product. Those micro services interact with various upstream and downstream systems. We are also build UI for OPAS HTML5, Javascript and ReactJS and the platform integrates with other systems in the Bank using a combination of MQ, File, Web Service and REST interfaces. In this role, you will: Development of new requirements Automating testing and deployment of small and frequent releases Speaking to product owner and business on features and requirements Deploying changes to production frequently and confidently Production availability of your service if you build the service you own the service!
