Frontend Team Lead

As the Frontend Team Lead, you will be responsible for owning the architecture, performance, and delivery of the HawkVision AI dashboard. Your role will involve building world-class user experiences for real-time AI systems. In this position, you will lead the development of HawkVision's core web dashboard using technologies like React and Next.js. You will be responsible for architecting and maintaining scalable and performant UI components and state management. Additionally, you will design and optimize UIs for real-time video streams and complex data visualizations. Your responsibilities will also include owning CI/CD, containerization, and hosting for the frontend using tools like Docker, GitHub Actions, and Azure/AWS. You will review code, mentor engineers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, on-time releases. Collaboration with backend, AI, product, and design teams on feature delivery will be a key aspect of your role. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 6 years of frontend development experience, including team leadership. Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js is essential. You should also possess strong state management skills, proficiency in web performance optimization, and knowledge of testing frameworks and accessibility standards. Bonus skills that would be beneficial for this role include experience with real-time video or media pipelines, charting libraries for data visualization, component library maintenance, and performance tuning for SSR/SSG in Next.js. Exposure to Figma, Sketch, and collaboration tools will also be advantageous.
